Finally got a chance to upload a good bunch of pictures. We are in Santiago for a few days, getting a different rental car, getting a Chilephone, changing our flights to stay here and skip Costa Rica, and checking the swell maps before heading south again. This time we may stay for a month or more. We found some perfect waves, one in particular we are hoping to score again. All is well here, it is nice to get a hot shower and see the city, but we are excited to head back to the ocean again for this next swell.

Genji - friend to the Perroratas (feral dogs that are superfriendly and omnipresent). It means "Rat-dog".
We had about 3 close calls on the long foggy dirt roads.
Walking the horse.
Morning traffic jam
With our hosts Flaco and Jon in Cobquecura. Genji grilling as usual.
Genji befriending another Perrorata in front of our place in Cobquecura. There are also Gatoratas, polloratas, puercoratas, and surferratas.
Even the clouds have waves here.
Just chillin.

Arsty Farsty photo
Genji after a 4 hour surf.
Earthquake damage - condemned buildings everywhere and lots of rebuilding going on too.
These are the markings on the structurally condemned buildings. Some are still lived in or used as internet cafes.
Typical country side front door lock and security system.
Making some tea.
4x4 surf search with the aussies.
Well thats all for now. Hopefully Genji will update with some of the other culinary finds and waves while we are here in Santiago. - Kevin
